About Me
I’m Sabrina, a certified sophrologist and photographer, with a life journey between Europe and Chicago.
My path began in the world of image, fashion, and aesthetics — spaces where the focus is often placed on outward appearance. Over time, however, another reality emerged for me: one rooted in inner experience, the body, and emotional awareness.

My journey has been deeply shaped by personal experiences — living with endometriosis, ten years of trying to conceive, fertility treatments, and miscarriage. Alongside this, I navigated the grief of not becoming a mother, as well as the complexity and emotional depth of an adoption journey that, despite hope and commitment, did not unfold as I had imagined.
These experiences left a profound imprint on me. They brought challenges, grief, and questions — but they also opened an essential space: a return to myself.
A space where I began to listen differently. To feel. To reconnect with my body, beyond control or expectation.
Photography became my first language — a way to express, process, and transform what could not always be put into words. It allowed me to explore identity, emotion, and presence in a deeply intuitive way.
Sophrology came later as a natural continuation of this path. A way to anchor what I had begun to explore — through breath, body awareness, gentle movement, and visualization. A way to calm the mind, regulate the nervous system, and restore a sense of inner safety and balance.
Today, these two practices are deeply connected in my work. They create a bridge between inner experience and outer expression — between what is felt and what can be seen.
As a certified sophrologist, I support people in reconnecting with themselves — their breath, their body, their inner safety, and their self-worth.
Together, we gently reconnect with your inner resources — the strengths, capacities, and positive resources that already exist within you — and allow space for a natural sense of positivity to emerge, at your own rhythm.
My work
My work is rooted in presence, breath, and awareness.
Through sophrology, I guide you using:
• breathing techniques
• gentle body-based exercises
• visualization
to help you slow down, regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and access the positive resources within you that support your balance and well-being.
Rooted in my own lived experience, I wish to support women navigating physical and emotional pain related to endometriosis, as well as the grief of motherhood, fertility, and loss, through sophrology.
MY APPROACH
My approach is gentle, intuitive, and person-centered.
It is based on:
• deep listening
• respect for your rhythm
• a safe and non-judgmental space
• a trust in your inner resources and the positive potential that already lives within you
There is no performance here — only experience, awareness, reconnect.
Because when we return to the body, we return to ourselves.
Sophrology is a relaxation and personal development method that combines breathing techniques, gentle movement, visualization, and guided awareness to improve mental and physical well-being. It aims to create harmony between body and mind, enhance self-awareness, manage stress, and build resilience.
Sophrology is widely developed in Europe because it is simple, accessible, and effective for managing stress and improving well-being. Created by Alfonso Caycedo, it is now used in healthcare, education, and the workplace.
It is often used for:
• Stress and anxiety management
• Sleep improvement
• Emotional regulation
• Pain management
Sophrology integrates structured relaxation methods with phenomenological study of conscious experience.
Etymology
The word “sophrology” comes from Greek roots:
• sōs (σῶς) – harmony, balance
• phrēn (φρήν) – mind, consciousness
• logos (λόγος) – study, science

So, sophrology literally means:
“The study of the harmonious consciousness”
or
“The science of balanced awareness.”
